K BELO Popsicle One Piece in Navy Sailor Stripes

Moving to Miami was one of the most spontaneous yet one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. And this K Belo one piece is the perfect piece to enjoy the beaches and poolside!

As soon as I found myself in this tropical and vacationy environment, I realized pretty quickly that I didn’t have a lot of clothes for this climate. Normally, I have some summer clothes and swimwear in my wardrobe. But they last for just a couple of trips, and then I get rid of them. Shorts, summery shirts, tank tops, flip flops – all of that is wearable for one or two summer seasons. That’s it.

I’ve been here almost for two months. And I’m not going to the beach every day. But when I first arrived, I enjoyed every single minute at the beach. I felt my lack of swimsuits right away.

And so, you can imagine how excited I was when a New York swimsuit designer offered one of her designer pieces for a post about it. It was perfect timing. After I posted some pictures on my Instagram page, lots of girls wanted to know where the suit came from.

Well, I am happy to finally shed light on the secret. Talented emerging designer Diane and her brand K Bello made this gorgeous suit. K Belo, by the way, as we pronounce it in the U.S., means “how lovely” in Italian (Que bello!) Such an appropriate name!

I absolutely love one-pieces. In fact, my friend Sabrini who lives in LA (originally from Brazil) always teases me about my soft spot for one-piece swimwear (not too popular among Brazilians who prefer tiny bikinis). She always says, “You are so European, wearing those! 🙂

All the same, I got tons of compliments on that striped swimsuit. The lines make the figure appear taller and slimmer. I also love the open back. It looks very sexy without being too open.

Something else that’s cool about this suit is that it is made of recycled Lycra from Italy. What a great way to be less wasteful and chic at the same time! And it seems very well-made, which makes me sure that it will outlive my other summer clothes I’ve had along the way.
